With the route plotted for you, and with Gatherer showing where Blood of Heroes spawns right on your map and minimap, you should be able to farm Blood of Heroes as much as you want without going too crazy. You’ll also see me screw up a couple of times and have to check the map to recover. When I did it the first time, I had nearly completed my Shen’dralar grind without using more than a few Blood of Heroes, so I’m not as familiar with the route. You’ll see that I have to check the map frequently on this route. The route through Eastern Plaguelands is more complex, mainly because there are so many more possible spawn points.Įven with so much ground to cover, I picked up 4 Blood of Heroes in 23 minutes, as you can see in the video (it also has been sped up 2.5x).

Be sure to pick it up if you don’t already have it.)Īs an Alliance player I was able to complete this route in just over 16 minutes, as you can see in this video (it has been sped up 2.5x). (Alliance players should fly from Ironforge to Chillwind Camp Horde players can fly from Undercity to The Bulwark now that it has a flight point. From there you can fly back and start the route again from the beginning. It starts at The Bulwark in Tirisfal Glades, meanders through Western Plaguelands, and then covers Eastern Plaguelands, ending at Light’s Hope Chapel. You can obviously farm Scholomance and Stratholme more quickly than this, but the Libram of Rapidity is often much cheaper than Libram of Focus and Libram of Protection (thanks to Blood of Heroes being more difficult to farm) and you’ll run across several of them in Dire Maul anyway.Īfter a lot of experimentation - and remember, I’ve completed Insane once and am now doing it again on a second character - this is the route I’ve come up with. When I tested the route I was able to visit every node in 40 minutes and got six Blood of Heroes. I spent several hours putting together what I believe is the most efficient route through Western Plaguelands and Eastern Plaguelands to farm Blood of Heroes. This means that Blood of Heroes now appears on my map and minimap, making it easy to visit every known node. In my case I used the GathererDB Wowhead addon to import the entire Wowhead database into Gatherer. What many people don’t know is that you can also import data into Gatherer. Gatherer tracks nodes that you have seen and allows you to share data with other players in-game. This is how I did it there are probably other addons and routes you can use, but this works for me, as you’ll see in the videos below.įirst, I already had installed the Gatherer addon for farming herbs and minerals.
Fortunately there is a way to make it easy to locate and farm them. These are needed to gain reputation with Shen’dralar using a Libram of Rapidity however, they can be quite difficult to find. One of the most annoying parts of the Insane in the Membrane achievement in World of Warcraft is trying to find Blood of Heroes.
